Sheldon bats were manufactured in Kinzua, PA, near Erie, and the store models featured the likes of Ruth, Gehrig, Foxx and Greenberg. This 35"-long, "American Ace / Greenberg Type" example shows EX condition with a black-Sharpie "9-10" signature. Collector Larry Shane's personal letterhead note reads, "To whom it may concern, In August 1985 one of my Maccabi players (Mike Arloff) went to Hank Greenberg's home on my behalf. I had sent Mike some items for Hank Greenberg to sign; as per my arrangement with Hank. This Bat was one of those items." Full LOA from JSA.
