Hockey fans skate away with this vintage Minnesota North Stars jersey, that was game worn by defensemen Ron Meighan during the 1981-1982 season. A 1967 NHL expansion team, the North Stars played in Minnesota until 1993, when they relocated south to transform into the Dallas Stars. While the North Stars failed to win a cup, their uniforms won a lot of attention and this sporty jersey is decked out with the team's vibrant green and gold colors, which standout in 3D-like contrast to a white field. A label inside the collar indicates a local St. Paul maker, "Steichens Sports Equipment" and a smaller label indicates the size "56". A North Stars logo of considerable size dominates the landscape of the jersey's front and equally large number "23" patches hog up most the back below Meighan's nameplate, which is arrayed across the top. Only minor traces of wear are noted and overall this nearly 40 year old gamer presents in excellent condition.
