Description

When the whole world knows you by one name such as Prince of Madonna, you are definitely big time. Pay tribute to soccer's biggest name with this 1976-1977 New York Cosmos jersey, game used by the great Pele. Made in Brasil by "Athleta", this vintage NASL jersey shows moderate signs of wear/use and presents handsomely with vibrant colors. The back bears Pele's uniform number "10" patches and the front is affixed with a dynamic Cosmos multi-color logo patch on the left breast, while the right breast bears three embroidered gold stars. Other design elements are white and green striped elastic accent bands around the v-neck collar and sleeve ends and another set of number patches on the right sleeve. Though Pele's stint with the Cosmos was brief, his presence went a long way in promoting soccer in America. Comes with COA signed by Marcos Moura Teixeira, who served as "Technical Coordinator" for the Brazilian National Soccer Team, stating this jersey comes from his personal collection.
