In the Pantheon of elite soccer stars stands Pele, Rinaldo, Messi and of course the great Maradona! Nothing less than a national treasure in Argentina, Diego Maradona was the National Team leader through four World Cup Tournaments in 1982, 1986, 1990 and 1994. From his final season of international play, comes this 1994 Argentina game used jersey. As prestigious as a Maradona gamer is, this one goes to the Nth degree with the addition of a fanciful Maradona ballpoint pen autograph that registers ("8") potency. Applied to the right breast area, Maradona's signature shares space on the jersey's front with an embroidered Adidas logo and a National Team patch. Sewn inside the collar is an Adidas factory label and an Adidas laundry label is located inside on the right side seam. Styled with stripes of Argentina's blue and white colors, this long-sleeve shirt suits up attractively, however moderate wear is noted in the form of a spot of color fading on the central blue stripe on the front and a partially detached section of black outline piping inside the zero of the number "10" patch on the back. All other elements of this treasured jersey are pleasing and considering the possibility Maradona wore it during the '94 World Cup tournament, this fantastic piece stands as a prime collecting goal. Full photo LOA from JSA; and a COA signed by longtime Brazilian National Soccer Team technical coordinator Marcos Moura Teixeira, stating this jersey comes from his personal collection.
