Description

One of the top 3 middleweights of all time and top 15 pound-for-pound fighters, Harry Greb (1894-1926) recorded nearly 300 bouts and was both a middleweight champion and light heavyweight champion. Nicknamed the Pittsburgh Windmill, he secretly suffered blindness in one eye from a ring incident early in his career, and died at age 32 from complications relating to a surgery to repair his damaged nose and respiratory tract. This striking sepia portrait in profile shows routine minor peripheral wear and some whitish discoloration on Greb's face. Encapsulated as Type I by PSA/DNA. LOA for Type I from PSA/DNA.
