What unites these baseball ghosts of yesteryear? Orlando, Florida! Tinker Field, to be more specific. Hall of Fame player/manager Bucky Harris and broadcaster Arch McDonald are of course most closely associated with the Washington Senators, whose spring training operations moved to Tinker Field in 1936. Famed namesake Joe Tinker (d.1948) spent his later years in central Florida, as did Deadball-era ballplayers Wilbur Good and Tommy Leach. Finally, umpire Bill Summers would often call spring-training games. The 4-3/8" x 3-3/4" page displays EX condition with blue-ink signatures averaging "9" strength. Additional inscriptions appear in an unknown hand—presumably that of the album's original owner. Full LOA from JSA.
