Redskins' rooters get revved up with this 1950 Team panoramic photo. This bright, clean photo shows in a visible area of 47 x 9-1/2" and is framed to overall dimensions of 49 x 11-1/2". Thirty-eight players and coaches are lined-up shoulder to shoulder in front of the Capitol Building, in a scene that was obviously captured during the Winter. A title caption to the left of center, above the players heads reads "1950 Washington Redskins" and each subject is printed over with his surname for easy identification. Notables are HOFers Sammy Baugh wearing number 33 and Bill Dudley wearing number 35; and head coach Herman Ball, who is standing next to Dudley. The professionally mounted period frame remains appealing and the photograph displays in excellent condition with no discernible flaws, though it is sealed under glass and is inaccessible to hands of examination.
