With eight trips to the World Series and six wins in the 1950s, it's safe to say the New York Yankees dominated the decade. Recall the men who made this baseball supremacy possible, with this limited edition litho by Murray Tinkelman (d.2016). Titled "50's", this scene of the Yankee Stadium grandstands is signed by a total of (51) Yankees of the '50s. Suitably located on the white field above the stadium, these prized signatures range ("7" to "9") in potency, with keys: Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra, Whitey Ford, Phil Rizzuto, Enos Slaughter, Allie Reynolds, Moose Skowron, Tony Kubek, Ralph Terry, Don Larsen, Virgil Trucks, Johnny Sain, Clete Boyer, Bobby Richardson, Johnny Blanchard, Bob Turley, Gil McDougald, Gene Woodling, Ryne Duren, coach Frank Crosetti, and broadcaster Mel Allen. The artist has signed with LE numbering "46/100" at bottom left. Though more than half of the frame's black laminate surfacing is absent, the litho remains in excellent condition.
