Description

Film buffs enjoy some star attractions with this autographed movie poster lot of (5). Stars of gritty crime dramas, side-splitting comedies and a ground-breaking comic book adaption are teamed up in this pleasing collection, with fan favorites Henry Winkler and Pam Grier leading the way. All of these original posters are professionally framed and ready for prominent display. Auction LOA from JSA.

Featured are:

1.) There's much more to Henry Winkler than "Fonzie". While rocking the TV world as Arthur Fonzarelli on the classic series "Happy Days", Winkler turned in a spot-on performance in the 1978 film "The One and Only", as an ingratiating "wannabe" actor who gains fame as a wrestler known as "The Lover". Winkler is seen in this role with costar Kim Darby, with this original 1978 Paramount One and Only movie poster. Winkler has also signed this vintage film promoter at left with ("9") potency. With deference to the original period compacting folds, this 27x41 one-sheet displays in better condition and is framed to overall dimensions of 30x43.

2.) For his third film controversial director Quentin Tarantino stuck with the crime genre, scoring another hit with the feature "Jackie Brown". Tarantino enjoyed great critical acclaim for his first two movies, "Reservoir Dogs" and "Pulp Fiction" and this third turn proved a charm once again. Pumped up by Hollywood heavyweights Robert De Niro, Samuel Jackson, Michael Keaton and Bridget Fonda, this gritty flick rebooted the careers of Pam Grier in the lead role and Robert Forester as her clever accomplice. Make a great movie memorabilia score, with this original 1997 Miramax "Jackie Brown" movie poster signed by Pam Grier with ("9") potency. Presenting in like-new condition, this dynamic poster is framed to overall dimensions of 30x44 in a sleek metal frame that is ready for display.

3.) Recall the much too merry adventures of the Sherwood Forest gang with this 1993 "Robin Hood: Men in Tights" original movie poster. From the madcap mind of Mel Brooks, this musical spoof of the Robin Hood legend boasts some great comedic performances by Richard Lewis as a neurotic Prince John, Dave Chappelle as Ahchoo, Brooks as Rabbi Tuckman and Cary Elwes as the film's lead Robin of Loxley. Professionally framed and matted to overall dimensions of 28-1/2 x 40", this like-new poster features actor Elwes, who has signed ("8-9") in a favorable location over his extended hand at right.

4.) Actress Nancy Allen took part in her fourth and final film collaboration with then husband Brian DePalma in the 1981 suspense thriller "Blow Out". Recall this prominent Hollywood couple with this 1981 Blow Out original movie poster. Framed to overall dimensions of 30x44, this vintage film promoter is signed by Allen ("9") over the face of her famed co-star John Travolta. With deference to period fold lines, this classic poster presents in excellent condition.

5.) Already a major Hollywood star at the age of twenty-two, Chloe Grace Moretz has dozens of film roles to her credit. Her breakout performance came in the 2010 movie adaptation of the comic book series "Kick-Ass", as the totally lethal eleven year old vigilante super-hero "Hit Girl". Signature seekers and movie buffs post some lethal bids to claim this 2010 Kick-Ass movie poster featuring Moretz as Hit Girl. Professionally framed to overall dimensions of 30x42, this magnificent presentation in purple is a real attention grabber, with the ninja-like pre-teen perched above the city while making the claim "I can't see through walls. But I can kick your ass.". Moretz has provided a big and bold silver felt pen autograph that shows ("9") strength, located just above the legend "Hit Girl" at bottom.
