Silver Age comics in higher grades are getting tougher and tougher to find. Examples professionally rated in better condition are typically offered on an individual basis, so this 1967 Tales To Astonish lot of (5) different CGC graded issues stacks up as a great prize. Starring the Incredible Hulk and the Sub-Mariner, this classic series came to end before the close of the Silver Age and survivors that are this attractive are just too good to ignore.

This new to the market comic offering comes from the estate of a lifetime collector who purchased his collection at time of publication in the 1960s. One of sixty-six such comic book lots in the current H&S May, 2020 auction, these Silver Age classics were held by the original owner until his demise last year, at which point his collection was bequeathed to a longtime friend, who though reluctant to let go of his friend's nostalgic posessions, has decided they should be enjoyed by dedicated collectors. Those comics which are graded were submitted to CGC c.2001-2003 and along with those that are not graded, were lovingly stored for more than fifty years regardless of condition. Enjoy this vintage selection from the fabulous "Ford Collection".
