Clean up with the "Human Vacuum Cleaner". During his illustrious 23-year Hall of Fame career with the Baltimore Orioles, Brooks Robinson earned 16 consecutive Gold Glove awards from 1960-1975. The brilliant third baseman's impenetrable play is recognized with this fantastic career Gold Glove Award. Measuring 10" from top to bottom, is a Rawlings gold glove labeled "Major League All-Star Fielding Team" on the palm. Robinson has signed this glove with ("8") potency by means of a black fiber-tip marker on the last finger, next to a factory printed facsimile signature. This triumphant piece sits on a 17 x 6-1/2 x 6" base, bringing the total height to 17." Two brass plates adorn the front of the base, with the upper plate reading "Rawlings Gold Glove Award"; and the lower plate reading "Rawlings Gold Glove Award Presented to Brooks Robinson Honoring His Selection to The Sporting News American League All Star Fielding Team 16 Consecutive Seasons 1960-1975".
The plain gold baseballs that should accompany this piece are replaced by (2) Robinson single-signed baseballs, with: 1.) OAL/MacPhail ball (EX-MT) signed on the sweet spot with ("9-10") potency, personalized "To John" with "1977" date inscription; and 2.)
