Captivating colors and haunting images are the hallmarks of the 1951 Bowman Red Menace non-sport trading card series. Launched when the line in the sand against the spread of Communism was drawn at the 38th parallel on the Korean peninsula, this riveting military issue packs plenty of thrills and chills into its four dozen cards. Today this treasured series holds a firm place among the upper echelon of the most wanted non-sport cards list. Take decisive action to be in command of this 1951 Bowman "Red Menace" collection of (83) cards.


Spearheading this collection is a near-set of (44/48) ranging as (70% VG to VG-EX, 30% GD) with key cards: #1 Reds Invade South Korea (VG), #2 MacArthur Heads UN Forces (GD), #19 Atomic Doom (VG-EX), #23 Ghost City (VG), #24 General “Ike” in Command (VG) and #47 War-Maker presents GD details with deference to a small bit of surface loss on the reverse. The balance of (38) cards are numbers are: 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 45 and 46. The (4) absent cards required to complete this set are numbers 4, 22, 46 and 48.
