Months away from the 100th anniversary of Warren G. Harding taking office as the 29th President of the United States of America, this is an appropriate time to consider adding this signed letter display to your collection. Harding, who died suddenly in 1923 while still in office, has signed a letter dated 11/3/22, that is typed on a 6-1/2 x 8-1/2" sheet of White House letterhead. Addressed to the editor of the Spokane Chronicle newspaper, this antique correspondence expresses Harding's thanks for a well-wishing birthday telegram. Professionally mounted in a 25x25 frame, this letter from a sitting president is accompanied by its original mailing envelope postmarked 11/3/22; and an 8x10 portrait photo of Harding. This tastefully appointed piece presents handsomely despite several chips of wear on the frame, which could easily be touched up. Full photo LOA from PSA/DNA.
