Description

Figure collectors show some idol worship for this 1958-1962 Hartland baseball statue near-set of (17/20). One of the most sought after sports figure issues, the Hartland line was a hit sixty years ago and now these realistic statues are more popular than ever.

Highlighting this very nicely preserved collection are the (2) big keys, both with bats: Dick Groat with light-cream uniform (EX-MT) with minor wear on the jersey lettering; and Rocky Colavito with off-white uniform (NM) with deference to tape on the underside of the shoes.

The balance of (15) all come with bats or other accessories when applicable and range pleasingly as (EX to NM+, 33% with tape/adhesive residue under shoes) with off-white to light-cream uniforms unless noted, with: Hank Aaron, Luis Aparicio, Ernie Banks, Yogi Berra, Don Drysdale, Nellie Fox, Harmon Killebrew, Eddie Mathews, Willie Mays (cream uniform), Stan Musial, Babe Ruth, Duke Snider, Warren Spahn, Ted Williams and Batboy.

The (3) pieces required to complete this set (not included) are: Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris and Little Leaguer.
