Description

Rooted in ancient mythology, the "Sword & Sorcery" genre came of age with the writings of Robert E. Howard in the 1920s-1930s. Chief among Howard's creations is Conan the Barbarian," a brawny brute who went from outlaw, to mercenary, to conqueror and king. This majestic fantasy hero is gloriously rendered in shelf-sized format with this Conan statue lot of (2). The original factory boxes are solid, clean and bright, with bold graphics and minor traces of wear.

Featured are:

Dynamic Forces "Premiere Conan Statue". Living up to the brand's name, this majestic 12" figure is a dynamic rendering based on a commissioned artwork by Alex Ross, a prolific comic book artist/writer of the first order. In addition to noting "Inspired by Alex Ross", the box also displays the credits "Sculpted by Lou Cella" and "Painted by Tim Bruckner". This statue is presumed to be in mint state (MIB) as the interior packing remains sealed.

Dark Horse "Conan the Avenger" deluxe 7" bust statue. The interior packing has been opened and this piece presents as (MT). It is LE numbered on the underside of the base as "426/2,500" and a COA is included. Noted on a side panel is the credit "Sculpted by Tony Cipriano".
