Description

Two of the scariest creatures to ever prowl cineplexes are spotlighted with this Sci-Fi movie monster statue lot of (2) in original boxes. Movie monsters moved in a whole new direction when the crew of the "Nostromo" took flight in the 1979 film "Alien". This riveting tale literally had audiences jumping out of their seats when they saw a "Xenomorph" burst from the torso of actor John Hurt, who played the character "Kane". Directed by Ridley Scott, this groundbreaking flick won an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects, while breaking the mold for scary movies.

In addition to launching an enduring film franchise, Alien raised the bar for terrifying extra-terrestrials. This gave rise to another franchise featuring frightening ETs, the "Predator" series, which got off the ground with a big boost from the "Governator" Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1987. These two creatures spawned a co-franchise in 2004, with the film "Alien vs Predator" and millions of devoted fans assure that there is more to come from these superstar space-monsters. Scare the hell out of your friends and family with these (2) statues, that depict the original creatures from the first film of each series.

Featured are:

Palisades "Alien Signature Statue" LE numbered "1,029/1,500" presumed (MIB) in sealed factory box. This deluxe 16" statue is cited as "precisely replicating the monster" from the 1979 Alien film. The box shows moderate wear, including a crushed corner at bottom left on the back.

Hot Toys "Movie Masterpieces Predators: Classic Predator" 1/6th scale statue (MT) in factory box. Made in Japan, this highly detailed figure does not appear to have been displayed and the box is in excellent condition.
