Description

An obscure entity that turned out a small body of work from 1965-1969, Tower Comics is now gaining recognition and respect. The recognition is for the relatively small supply of original Silver Age Tower issues, which are offered in miniscule numbers compared to contemporary publishing giants DC, Marvel, Dell, Harvey and the like; and the respect is for the top notch artists who worked on Tower's output, including Wally Wood, Steve Ditko, Gil Kane and Reed Crandall. Altogether Tower published a total of 81 different issues for 6 titles during its 1965-1969 original period of operation. The main title was the "Archie" knock-off "Tippy Teen", which ran for 46 issues and the other 35 issues comprise 5 various super-hero and military titles. Here we have (12) comics comprising complete runs of 3 of these titles, with:

1966-1967 "Dynamo" complete run of (4/4) with: #1 (VG+ 4.5), #2 (VG- 3.5), #3 (VG-FN 5.0), #4 (FN- 5.5)

1966-1967 "Undersea Agent" complete run of (6/6) with: #1 (FN- 5.5), #2 (VG-FN 5.0), #3 (FN+ 6.5), #4 (VG-FN 5.0), #5 (VG 4.0), #6 (GD-VG 3.0); issues 1, 2, 4 and 5 have stamped arrival dates that are fairly unobtrusive

1966-1967 "NoMan" complete run of (2/2) with: #1 (VG 4.0), #2 (GD-VG 3.0)
