Description



A classic batting pose is struck with this original period Lou Gehrig photograph. Taken at the New York Yankees spring training camp in St. Petersburg, FL, this Acme Newspictures shot is stamp dated "3/9/29" on the reverse side. Gehrig is seen honing his prodigious batting stroke in this 6-1/2 x 8-1/2" photo, which presents as a solid (VG) example with deference to some moderate rippling at bottom.
