Wow, just wow. You've got to hold (or wear) this cape to believe it. They sure don't make 'em like they used to anymore! The very heavy, double-lined garment was clearly expensive and work-intensive to produce, spanning 8 feet long from corner to corner and 5 feet tall from hood to bottom center and featuring large tackle-twill lettering areas of "BALTIMORE COLTS" on both sides. There are also 5 snap buttons (one missing) as well as exterior and interior pockets. The blue-wool exterior has held up extremely well, with stitched team repairs at the collar, shoulder and pocket. The satiny interior shows extensive staining and discoloration, plus a few small tears. It's easy to imagine a colossus like lineman Jim Parker warming up in a snowstorm under this style of sideline cape!
