It has been an eternity since anyone has recorded a .400 batting average in the Majors. Realistically you would have to be at least ninety years old to have meaningful memories of witnessing this accomplishment, as the last time it happened was eighty years ago. The last two hitters to perform this Herculean feat are yours for the claiming, with this dual-signed bat. Presenting in factory fresh state, this Louisville Slugger is labeled "Last .400 Hitters In Each League", along with limited edition numbering of "11/100". The barrel is burned in with facsimile autographs of the legends who hold this revered distinction, along with the year and batting average for each, with Bill Terry ".401 In 1930"; and Ted Williams ".406 In 1941". These two supreme batsmen have signed on the barrel between the facsimile autographs and their corresponding averages, with both signatures showing determined ("8-9") quality. Auction LOA from JSA.
