The Bulldogs are best remembered for Steve Van Buren's coaching tenure and their 1966 Continental Football League championship. This 26-1/2"-long pennant features bold, impressively intact, appliqued graphics with virtually no age cracking. There is fading and toning throughout the felt surface, with thumb tack wear in the corners and a partial tip. Two of the four tassels remain. Our research reveals only one other known example.
