Donned by the superstitious right handed reliever to ward off chills, bad vibes and sportswriters rhetoric at Shea Stadium during his 1997-2001 tenure with the New York Mets, this authentic gamer boasts the additions of an ("8-9") strength Wendell autograph and the inscriptions "#99, Mets, Game Used". This silver felt-tip signature is located on the left breast, directly above the Day-Glo orange Mets logo patch. A Starter factory label is located inside the collar, along with a small size "XL" tag and the brand is also identified with an embroidered logo near the elastic cuff band on the left sleeve. Moderate soiling/staining occurs mainly on the front, providing evidence of authentic use. The stretch bands on the collar and cuffs remains tight, and snap buttons on the front and a zipper on the left side at bottom function as intended.
