While the Boston Celtics endured a franchise-long 21-year title drought between their 1986 and 2008 championships, the latter title upped their total to an NBA record 17 crowns. Composed by artist Bill Lopa, this limited edition (16/17) gicleé-on-canvas celebrates that 2008 conquest of the Los Angeles Lakers (who won the two subsequent NBA titles to move to within one of the Celtics). Securely fastened to a wooden frame of 40x27”, the textured canvas portrays Celtics stars (from left to right): Rajon Rondo, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Kendrick Perkins. Flanking the players in the upper corners are likenesses of coach Doc Rivers and fabled franchise founder Red Auerbach.
