Description



In 1989, the Marriott Company paid what was then considered to be a fortune for original artworks from the 1953 Topps set, including Mantle for $121,000 and Mays for $88,000. Marriott then recouped some of the expense by producing limited-edition prints such as these, measuring 11x14. The NM pair features matching LE #s 923/2000 and blue-marker "9" signatures. Accompanied by official 1989 Marriott LOAs.
