Marvel Comics followed up its ground breaking wave of Silver Age super-heroes with a great second wave of heroes in the late 1960s. Characters such as the Black Panther, Silver Surfer, Conan, Wolverine, the Inhumans and others hit their stride in the Bronze Age, paving the way for new generations of characters to join the ongoing merry Marvel march. From the cusp of the Silver and Bronze Ages, comes this 1968-1970 pair of partial runs, with early issues from the first solo runs of Captain Marvel and the Silver Surfer.
