Description



Brilliant 1910 Schmelzer's Sporting Goods Hank Gowdy pinback. Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. This celluloid treasure is one of three Gowdys that originated from a find and then was submitted to PSA. The grading service has graded no other examples. This Kansas City area relic exhibits a high gloss front surface with a bright white reverse lining. 

 

 

Note: Due to the lack of examples, the dating of this issue is speculative. However, it probably isn't 1910 as Gowdy made his major league debut later that season.
