Description



The monumental George Herman (Babe) Ruth is featured on the offered 1934 R309-1 Goudey Premiums example. This "Colossus of Clout" measures 5-1/2 x 9" and pictures a full body action pose of the slugger accented by gold colored bordering. Despite vertical creasing to the left of Ruth's imposing figure and an upper left corner crease, this heirloom otherwise presents in (GD) condition. The easel reverse is intact and two strips of residue are evident on the backing.
