In the inaugural 1903 World Series, the Flying Dutchman had nothing on the Flying Frenchman. Boston's Freddy Parent batted better than Pittsburgh's Honus Wagner, scored a then-record 8 runs, and amassed 28 fielding assists. Here, Parent endorses cigars on a 1-1/2" pin honoring those World Champion Boston Americans. Displays frontally as VG-EX with a few tiny spots and a small indent at bottom center. Reverse interior has heavy oxidation.
