Elite sluggers of the 20th Century are collected with this multi-signed 1988 Ron Lewis "500 Home Run Hitters" matted display. At the time Lewis created this print, there were fourteen members of baseball's revered "500 Home Run Club". "Babe" Ruth, Jimmie Foxx and Mel Ott were long gone form the scene, the others are present and accounted for with this autographed extravaganza. Matted to wall-hogging dimensions of 44x27, this captivating creation reports in excellent condition. All (11) of the depicted sluggers have provided inscriptions of their career home run totals to go along with their prized signatures. All of them are also enshrined in the Hall of Fame, as they passed the 500 home run mark back when it actually meant something, before the PED fiasco gave the record book a big fat black eye. Auction LOA from JSA.
(4) Autographs are fairly bold examples averaging ("7-8") potency, with: Frank Robinson, Reggie Jackson, Mickey Mantle and Hank Aaron.
(7) Autographs have faded to the ("2" to "4") range, with: Ted Williams, Harmon Killebrew, Willie Mays, Mike Schmidt, Ernie Banks, Eddie Mathews and Willie McCovey.
Artist Lewis has also signed ("7") at bottom right.
