Though the New York Giants finished as third place also-rans in 1955 while their crosstown rivals the Yankees and Dodgers faced off in the World Series, it's important to note they were the reigning champions, having won the 1954 "Fall Classic". The 1955 Giants return to the light with this team-signed baseball with (25) autographs, including the great Willie Mays. In addition to the superstar centerfielder, nearly all of those who decorated this period signed ONL/Giles ball (EX) with their signatures, are holdovers from the 1954 championship squad.
