Description

A fine haul is had with this 1961-1964 U.S. silver proof set lot of (50). All of these vintage sets are housed in their original U.S. Mint envelopes, with the great majority of the envelopes still being sealed. Those sets that are in opened envelopes are still all sealed in the original inner cellophane sleeves. Each set contains (5) proof-strike coins, including (3) that are 90% silver: half dollar, quarter and dime; and (2) base metal: nickel and cent. The half dollar coins dating from 1961-1963 are Franklin type and the 1964 half dollars are first year Kennedy type. The quarters are all Washington type, the dimes are all Roosevelt type, the nickels are all Jefferson type and the cents are all Lincoln "memorial back" type.

Featured sets are:

1961 (X15) with fourteen in sealed envelopes and one in opened envelope;

1962 (X15) with fourteen in sealed envelopes and one in opened envelope;

1963 (X15) all in sealed envelopes;

1964 (X5) with two in sealed envelopes and three in opened envelopes.
