Following a year away from the game in military service, in 1954 Willie Mays dominated the National League and earned MVP plaudits for the first time. Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Presented is a 1954 Topps Baseball #90 Willie Mays gum card. This classic dual portrait/action pose is crease-free with four sharp corners, creamy edges and lustrous surface colors. Moderately errant centering prevents an even high overall grade but does not significantly impact Mays' overall presentation.
