Fairly early for a Ripken gamer, this 35", 32-oz. bat hails from the era when father Cal Ripken Sr. became Orioles manager and brother Billy Ripken was also in the lineup. In fact, Cal Sr. took Cal Jr. out of a game in September 1987, ending his boy's record streak of 8,243 consecutive innings played! Tremendous overall use with a slightly cracked handle, light pine tar, and numerous ball/stitch marks, blue-ink transfers, blue bat rack streaks and cleat marks. Full LOA from John Taube/PSA/DNA.
