Recall the days when pitchers took their regular turn in the batting order, with this 1961-1963 Steve Barber game-used bat. Barber was a solid starter for the Baltimore throughout most of the 1960s, and his best years came during the 1961-1963 labeling period for this gamer. The O's reliable lefty also enjoyed a modicum of success at the plate, with two homers in 1961, and another in 1963. An H&B Louisville Slugger model R43, this vintage bat is uncracked and shows abundant signs of authentic use, including numerous contact marks, ball stitch impressions, cleat marks, and bat rack streaks on the barrel. Weighing in at 31.8 ounces, this 35" ash bat has Barber's name on the barrel, and the model number R43 is stamped into the knob. Full photo LOA from PSA/DNA.
