Bobble head collectors break out of the ceramic mold, for this unusual pair of vintage blow-up figures. Offered is a c.1960s Official Major League Swivel Head Inflatable Action Mascot lot of (2). Sealed in their original, near-pristine packages marked "Japan" on the back of the header cards, are a St. Louis Cardinals mascot, and a Pittsburgh Pirates mascot. These "new old stock" items bear a great resemblance to the 1960s ceramic type corresponding team mascot bobble head dolls, that have long been a big hit with collectors. The packages measure approximately 6x10, and the visible heads measure about 5x6, with the bodies folded up behind them. From deep in the realm of obscure collectibles, these colorful figures are a delightful find.
