Description

Field your own team with this 1960s football bobble head doll collection. Lined up are (14) different nodders, including (4) with wood base, (7) with square base, and (3) with round gold base. All things considered, this is a very handsome group, with no major issues. The slight to moderate wear identified, typically is located on the back of the head, or the underside of the head opening, and therefore unobtrusive to display, though a few pieces have very minor detractions on the front, as detailed below.

Featured are:

Wood base figures: Baltimore Colts has a single chip on the underside of the head opening and light wear (EX+); Chicago Bears has considerable wear around the head opening and a few hairline cracks on the back of the head (VG); St. Louis Cardinals has minor age toning on the helmet and slight wear (NM); Detroit Lions has a hairline crack on the back of the head, and two very small cracks under the chin strap (VG-EX);

Square base figures: Minnesota Vikings has a chip on the nose, a couple of paint loss flecks on the helmet, and the paint on the jersey lettering is a little weak (VG); Detroit Lions is outstanding with minimal wear (NM); St. Louis Cardinals has a single hairline crack on the back of the head, and a small fleck of paint loss on the jersey above the letters (VG-EX); Pittsburgh Steelers has moderate wear around the head opening, and a couple of small chips on the helmet (VG-EX); Baltimore Colts has moderate wear on the neck and head opening, and a small chip on the edge of the helmet above the right eye (VG-EX); Philadelphia Eagles is very attractive, with just some minor wear and a small fleck of extraneous paint on the left shoulder (EX-MT+); Washington Redskins has a few small hairline cracks limited to the flesh painted area below the helmet, a bit of paint loss on the left shoulder, and a small chip on the top left corner of the base (VG+);

Gold round base figures: St. Louis Cardinals has moderate wear around the head opening, including a 1/2" section of surface loss below the left ear (VG-EX); New York Giants has small chips at different points along the red accent stripe on the helmet, and other moderate wear (VG); Detroit Lions has a bit of surface loss on the flesh painted area below the helmet, on the back of the head, also a couple of hairline cracks on the back of the head, and a small chip on the top of jersey, just below the neck (VG).
