Back when television was young, Wild West adventures were a broadcasting staple. Several of the most prominent Western shows are recalled with this selection of (3) 1950s Topps non-sport sets. In this fast-paced, high-tech age, it seems incredible that anything could cause a coonskin cap craze, but Disney worked that particular brand of magic with its Davy Crockett mini-series, which had kids of the day craving furry head toppers. Joining the hero of the Alamo in this nostalgic offering, are the masked avenger of Old California, Zorro, and a variety of viewer favorites grouped in the TV Western series, such as Josh Randall, Paladin, Matt Dillon and others.
