Following four Stanley Cup championships with the New York Islanders, high scoring center Bryan Trottier lent his veteran presence to an up and coming Pittsburgh Penguins team. The wizened Hall of Famer helped his new youth-oriented team to back-to-back Stanley Cup championships in 1991 and 1992. Torttier's history making signing with the Penguins is documented, with this thrice signed 1990 contract. This crisp two-page document reports in excellent condition, with deference to two hole punches at top. A registration stamp to the right of the header, is dated 8/22/90. Made for a period of one year, this contract specifies Trottier's pay as $400,000.00 plus bonuses, which are spelled out on page two. Trottier's resolute endorsements show average ("9") potency. Two are located at the bottom of the first page, and the third is at the bottom of the second page. Also noted are (2) signatures from fellow Hall of Famer Craig Patrick, who was the Penguins GM from 1989-2005, and is enshrined as a builder. Auction LOA from JSA.
