In recent years, Kirby Puckett's gamers have sold in our auctions for as much as $2,000. This fine example is distinguished by its ebullient signature, its unique starburst design around the "34" knob notation, and its origins in Puck's best statistical season. The 34.25", 31.6-oz. bat shows excellent use with a repaired crack on the handle and center brand; ball marks/transfers/stitch impressions on the barrel; blue and green bat-rack streaks; and moderate pine tar. In 1988, Puckett enjoyed league-leading career highs with 234  hits and 358 total bases, as well as personal bests of 121 RBIs and a blistering .356 batting average. Graded GU 8. Full LOA from PSA/DNA (for game usage) and Auction LOA from JSA (for autograph).
