Not only did the Big Hurt break the White Sox single-season home run record in 1993, but he also became the first Pale Hose player ever to hit 40 home runs—not to mention picked up his first of two straight MVP awards. This nicely soiled OAL (Brown) ball boasts the handsomely scripted annotation, "FRANK THOMAS / 9-1-93 / ALL TIME / HOMERUN KING / 38 CHICAGO WHITE SOX," and it was obtained by longtime White Sox trainer Herm Schneider.
