Make a big-time score, with this Cal Ripken Jr. autographed game-used batting helmet. Dating from c.1987-1988, this molded Baltimore Orioles helmet is coated with considerable authentic use/wear, including bat gripping agent residue on the orange bill, and countless streaks, marks and abrasions all over the exterior. The interior is equally worn, with considerable abrading on the cushion pads, including the rear triangle pad, which is detached, but included. About three-quarters of the original warning label is present, though what is presumed to have been a factory label next to it, is completely gone, with only adhesive residue remaining. A white decal sticker of Ripken's uniform number "8" is located on the front of the bill, and a ghost image of a second number eight sticker is noted at rear, above an ABC (American Batting Cap) logo. Ripken has signed on the bill by means of a black fiber-tip marker, and his autograph rates as ("7") in quality. Phil Wood LOA for game-use; and full photo LOA from JSA for the autograph.
