Description

"Pain is temporary, it may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place." That “something” is a talent that earned Armstrong numerous accolades, including ESPN Male Athlete of the Year four years running. Penned after a more leisurely jaunt with fellow Texan, President Bush, this single-signed baseball is an athletic crossover from the multi-faceted star. Spanning nearly 3” across the sweet spot in blue ink, Armstrong’s signature grades a (“6-7”) in strength. Penned on a specially licensed Spalding baseball produced for President Bush at the “Western White House” in Crawford, Texas, this ball is crowned by the associated logo and facsimile autograph of the forty-second president. Accompanying this piece is a 5x7 photograph depicting Armstrong and Bush riding along the spacious hill country of the Crawford ranch. An impressive pairing tying these prominent Texans together, this ball comes with an Auction LOA from James Spence Authentications.
