When Banks was born in 1931, Ruth and Gehrig were Yankees teammates and baseball was segregated. In the early 1950s, Banks debuted for the Kansas City Monarchs and then the Cubs, eventually breaking Ruth and Gehrig's record of 4 grand slams in a season with 5 salamis of his own in '55. This medium-toned 1920s-era OAL ball is a unique tribute to the mighty triumvirate. Full LOA from JSA.
Sweet Spot: Ruth ("5-6" with scuffed "B")
East Panel: Gehrig (would be "7" were it not for skips on "L" and "G")
West Panel: Banks ("7-8")
