"500 Home Run Club" member Eddie Mathews is the only player in Braves history to suit up in all three of the cities the franchise has called home. After retiring as a player, the heavy hitting third baseman returned to Atlanta in the 1970s, first as a coach and then as the manager who was filling out the lineup cards when longtime teammate Hank Aaron broke Babe Ruth's career home run record. Featured is an autographed replica of the jersey Mathews wore in his final season as the Braves manager. Made by Wilson, this size "44" jersey reports in like-new condition with a captivating array of patches, including Mathews' number "41" on both the front and back, along with "Atlanta" on the front. This crisp pullover type jersey is also embroidered with Mathews' name at bottom on the front, and the Hall of Fame slugger has provided an ("8-9") strength autograph, which is also located on the front just below the Atlanta lettering. Auction LOA from JSA.
