Yankees southpaw Art Schallock had the good fortune of winning world championships in his first 3 of 5 total seasons. He made a mound appearance in the '53 World Series, highlighted by striking out Gil Hodges and getting Jackie Robinson to line out. This 35", 33.6-oz. bat was produced for Schallock for that Fall Classic, as H&B had a tradition of shipping complimentary bats to the A.L. and N.L. pennant winners, with position players receiving two bats and pitchers receiving one. The uncracked, unused bat has a series of knob notations. Full LOA from JSA.
