Two of baseball's brightest stars of the 1940s shine their light on the auction scene, with this pair of framed autographed posters. The best position players of the era not named Ted Williams were Joe DiMaggio and Stan Musial, and we have them both here. Featured are (2) framed posters that are signed by these highly respected sluggers, with:
Joe DiMaggio batting pose illustration over newspaper headlines background, framed to 24x30 with an ("8-9") strength autograph across DiMaggio's left leg.
Stan Musial signed ("9-10") at bottom right, on a Coca-Cola "Baseball Greats" poster framed to 26x32.
The frames show light to moderate wear, but both remain serviceable. Auction LOA from JSA.
Frames included with lots: while we make every effort to protect the frames included in these lots during pre-auction storage and post-auction shipping, we are not responsible for any damage to the frames themselves, and no refunds will be given due to frame damage.
