Just these five pages alone are worth the price of admission:
Ted Williams ("8")/Lou Boudreau/Dom DiMaggio/Warren Giles
Mickey Mantle ("8", early style of "M")/Neil Berry
Phil Rizzuto/Allie Reynolds/Pee Wee Reese/Carl Erskine
Rogers Hornsby ("7-8")
Jackie Robinson (smudge)
Although we wouldn't go so far as to say this 4-1/2" x 6" album has been through the war, it does bear moisture stains, adhesive residue, toning and some brittle edges. Condition is PR/FR overall with a missing back cover. All that said, it still may be a good candidate for cutting up into cuts because the period pencil/ink signatures average "6-9" on the whole. (Some are adhered cuts, including Robinson and Howie Fox.)
Additional highlights include: Spahn, Doerr, Kell, Ford, D. Snider, H. Fox (d.1954 in bar fight at age 34), Raschi, Labine, D. Williams, Mauro, McDougald, Berra, D. Howell, Noren, Podres, Blackwell, Kluszewski, Walters, Jethroe, Sisti, Litwhiler, D. Rice, B. Martin, Schoendienst, Reiser, T.
