Personal secretary under first A.L. President Ban Johnson, Will Harridge also worked directly under Commissioner Landis and second A.L. President Ernest Barnard before becoming the third A.L. President in history and presiding for 27 years. His 10/17/50 letter references the Babe Ruth Foundation Board and appears on A.L. official stationery with a 7-3/4" x 9" visible area in apparent VG condition. Harridge's dark-ink signature is an "8-9" example. Matted and framed with a portrait image to measure 18x24 (frame wear).
