Description

Still reeling after their upset loss to the “Miracle Mets” the previous fall, the 1970 Baltimore Orioles were as close to unbeatable as mere mortals could possibly be. Having won their final 11 regular season contests, the Birds then swept Minnesota in the ALCS and won the first three World Series contests to extend their winning streak to 17. This ticket stub hails from the opener of that Fall Classic and is autographed by O’s Hall of Famer Frank Robinson. Encapsulated with Autograph Grade GEM MT 10 by PSA/DNA, the Riverfront stadium voucher is signed by Robinson in blue marker and inscribed “1970 World Series Champions.” The crease-free ticket presents beautifully, with vibrant colors, printed seating/event details and a diagram of the brand new Queen City venue.
