Baseball's winningest manager invites you to win big with this autographed vintage photo. Connie Mack's 3,731 wins as an MLB manager put him about 1,000 ahead of the second winningest manager John McGraw and likely will keep in the top spot until people start living to be 200 years old. Presented is a handsome signed portrait photo, professionally mounted in a stately like-new frame, with deluxe matting and an engraved brass plate proclaiming the "Tall Tactician's" Hall of Fame 1937 induction date. Mack (d.1956) has provided a firm ("9") strength signature at lower right, with the personaliztion "Gene Daniels, My Very Good Friend".
Hard to tell how old Mack was when this photo was taken, because he pretty much looked the same since the age of thirteen, but we estimate it at eighty to a hundred years old. Photographer H.W. Wagner has signed on the border at the bottom right corner and included his studio location "Phila". Other known Wagner baseball photos have been dated to the 1920s-1930s. Full photo LOA from JSA.
